I am kind of sad that October has come and gone already. Of course, I am totally pumped for my parents to come out for Thanksgiving and Christmas season is always so warm and fuzzy. But October seems to be MY month.
The weather is perfect for me. I love sweater and hoody weather, but not yet big puffy warm coat weather. I love the changing of the leaves, and a SLIGHT breeze that blows the leaves around. None of this 100 mph hour Iowa wind that smacks leaves and twigs off the side of your face.
Halloween is always so much fun, too. Who – besides my fiance – doesn’t like to dress up for Halloween?
Football Season.
And last but not least – the love of my life. Zach and I met on October 1, 2005; we started dating on October 18, 2005; there were a lot of firsts for us in October 
; then I moved here the first week in October 2007; he prosposed to be on October 10, 2007; and finally, we’re getting married on October 17, 2009!!
And let’s not forget..he gave me my iPhone when I moved here in October 2007
So you see..lots of good things for me in October!
